       domestic passenger vehicle (PV) market, which grew by less than 3% year-on-year (y-o-y) in terms of volumes in FY25, is expected to witness low single-digit growth this fiscal owing to a high base, according to industry executives.

The PV volumes in the domestic market jumped 2.42% y-o-y at 43,54,305 units in FY25 from 42,51,226 units in FY24. For reference, India became the third-largest car market in the world in FY24, crossing annual sales of 40,00,000 units for the first time......!!
