Electric vehicle maker Rivian (RIVN.O) has announced plans to launch its advanced hands-free driver assistance systems in 2025, followed by "eyes-off" autonomous driving systems in 2026, according to CEO RJ Scaringe.

Hands-Free System (2025): The advanced driver assistance system will enable hands-free driving on select roads, competing with technologies like Tesla's Autopilot and GM's Super Cruise.


Eyes-Off System (2026): A step further in autonomy, this system will allow drivers to disengage from active vehicle monitoring entirely under certain conditions.
